OK so why not change the rules so players have to have played a certain number of NRL games or rep games or whatever. I don't see the point of effectively banning players like Jamie Lyon, Greg Bird or Danny Buderus from coming over here and enhancing the comp |

Until we have enough players to fill those elite clubs, 10 clubs is nowhere near as ludicrous as 14 clubs. |

I didn't disagree with reducing the number of overseas players, just don't see the benefit in stopping them altogether. |

Hudds 1895- I agree some of the imports are rubbish. Kauparatsis(sp) at Quins rubbish, 2 second rowers we had last year at Quins rubbish. A few years ago we brought some prop in who was injured an never played. Its crazy

Why not just have a 4 team Super League with Wigan, Warrington, Saints and Leeds playing each other 8 times a season. I did suggest this several seasons ago although the 4 then were Saints, Leeds, Hull and Bradford. Lucky for Warrington that it never happened as they were crap at that time. Suppose teams outside the proposed 10 would be similarly unlucky now.

Why? We've been poor this season for well documented reasons - we've never been perennial whipping boys like Huddersfield back with P+R with 12 teams. There's no team in Superleague who gets slaughtered every week normally.
I think it's incredibly arrogant to even suggest kicking 4 teams out of the league, why not just have Saints, Warrington, Leeds and Wigan in the league then you can all sit round patting each other on the back at what a talented league you have.
As I said before, Ludicrous. |
