I'm coming back again... I know Quins RL isnt the greatest footy, but the club still has a great game day package. Starting to watch less SL (I think its the sky production and eddy and stevo that get to me more then the games)

And those saying that it takes too long to get to the ground. It takes under 30 mins from central london, quicker then a tube ride from north to south and a lot more comfortable.

Im contracted in London until March at the moment, anyone any ideas when the league is likely to start, if I can get 4 games in then I might be tempted to lend my support.

League starts in Cardiff mid Feb

6 weekends after that until 2/3 April, so I'll be lucky to get 4 games in, hmmm.

Always time to be a casual fan...

Not sure why Quins dont offer a discounted multi game ticket... would be great to sell to those on contracts and the travelling antipodeans.

Well i live in Golders so a bus to Waterloo would take considerbaly more than 15mins. But any how, as the journey is 1hr plus to support a team which would effectively be my second team is just a non starter.

I live in Barnet just a simple bus ride from the Skolars on the 184, Quins is an altogether different prospect, my financial support petered off mid way through this season, just not prepared to dedicate all the time i did and pay any amount to watch soulless, 5 drives and a kick rugby.
Being a neutral affords me my fickle nature, not to bothered about seeing them win, just want to see them play good rugby.

Rename the club

relocate to Loftus Rd

Get some decent sponsors (including the Walkabout)

Get some players Antips have actually heard of

Please dont say its hard to get to the Stoop. Ive been doing it from the home counties for every home game. There are very regular 20 minute trains from Waterloo to Twickenham, and its a 10 min walk the other end. By car its 10 mins off the M3 coming from the M25. Any RL fan in the London area saying they dont come because its 'hard to get to' is a liar.

Agree 100%, but it is the main reason rolled out on these boards as to why ANZACS don't come to games.....

So why don't London folk go?
