No there won't, there generally isn't much of a police presence apart from immediately around the ground as the majority of Hearts fans travel by official coaches which are only allowed down certain routes etc. Walk down Princes Street and you would barely know that there's a game on, crowds only start to gather the nearer you get to Leith Walk.

| Can't wait for this weekend. This is what rugby league is all about all the teams playing in the same ground over one weekend. Fantastic for the supporter in my opinion.
With the money the RFL make from the event in selling the rights to host alone it is commercially viable.
Im looking forward to the bradford v crusaders game, wigan hudds and saints hull kr.
I just don't get how people can moan about the weekend, people moan about travelling up to scotland to see their team playing but you get to see 7 games for the price of one. Coaches inparticular should use the weekend as not just a regular season fixture, they should treat it as a team bonding session.
Bring on Friday when I set off!

That's all very well and good but I couldn't give 2 hoots about watching t'other teams.
So it's a hell of a long way to go to watch us play Wakey. Sure it's my choice to go, but that's why I can moan about it. I prefered Cardiff for my 'just going to watch my team' on the road trip.
But yes, if you're wanting to see all games it's great value and you'll probably have a great time - just not for me.

| Much of a muchness for going north in terms of M6/A1, but come off the M74 at the Edinburgh turn off and then a nice drive through Biggar and various villages until you reach Edinburgh.

| Deacon Brodies Bar on the Royal Mile up towards the Castle. THE best pint anywhere in the world, Deuchers IPA brewed nearby at the Caladonian brewrey. It pains me as a Yorkshireman to say it but there is NO better pint brewed in the UK.

The trams won't be ready for years, the trams are the bane of the city.

| The morons at the council have kindly organised a Half marathon type thing in the east of city on the Sunday.
If you are coming from that side of town factor that into your travel.
On a happier note if you want a quality pint hit Thomson's Bar on Morrison Street which is just up the road from Haymarket Station.
