| Tomorrow is the biggest game rugby league has had in this country in well over decade. Possibly in the super league era. We'd had various finals and semi's in that time, most of which played in the heartlands.
But this is at wembley, outside of the heartlands, to a mass audience. This is a massive game. Wembley has been a special place for Rugby league over the years, and our record against the aussies there isn't bad. Tomorrow everyone needs to bring their A game. From the players (of both teams) producing a spectacle (specifically one involving england WINNING) to the fans creating a great atmosphere.
LET'S HAVE EM!

| It feels big as well. Feels special.
Can you imagine how it would feel if we were good enough to potentially beat Australia?
If I'm still watching at half time I'll be delighted, but 25 years of watching abstract failure have made me wary of getting excited about international RL.

It's because it's at wembley pal. Get's the juices flowing way more than england v aus at the JJb, or some other super league stadium.
This is BIG.
Be pumped up, look forwward to it, our boys won't let us down at wembley. If we lose we'll go down well and truly fighting. Tomorrow it's not us who are up against it, it's aus. Trust me.

What some people don't seem to realise in all their scathing remarks and negativity is that internationals are the best way to grow the game.
Amateur RL is played all over the country, most of these people are unlikely to go to CC or Grand finals when they have no affinity to a team. So when england put's on a big international, it's the perfect opportunity to get to a game.
It brings the game to a much wider audience than fans from the M62 corridor and the fact so many tickjets have been sold to people with london postcodes is testament to that.
Hopefully this game is a sign of things to come, and england v australia at wembley can start to become a regular thing, because if it does it won't be long before the stadium is getting sold out.

Well as there are over 100 thousand Kiwis and Aussies living in London, it's hardly surprising.

Couldn't agree more Standee, absolute joke. McNamara is not a proven coach, and Chase has no place in the England team, it's embarrassing to be quite honest.

Thats why having it at i the heatlands is such a bad idea. JJB stadium has no occasion so you only likely to get 20k+
At Wembley you will get more heartlands going as it is an occasion, plus all the London folk as it is the national team at Wembley. Many people will watch on the beeb when the see Eng v.s OZ at Wembley, even if they know whats happening. Can't imagine them doing that if they switched on and so the JJB stadium
