| I may be caught in the moment but Jarryd Hayne has just pulled off tackle of the season, maybe the best try saver ever.
Right winger sliding in at full pace in the corner with ball in right arm (correctly). Hayne tackles him from behind, picks him up before he slides over the line, onto his back and out of play.
Unreal.

| I always liked Kylie Leuleuai's tackle. Really thick and juicy.

Plays like that are why I love the game so much.

Sounds very similar to Briscoe on Fox... expect that was in the last minute of the game and saving the winning try
But... what I fail to take into consideration is this the NRL so both players must be 9 feet tall, can run 100 meters in 5 seconds and made of adamantium

| You're right. It was nothing special. Now I think about it, i'd have Tom Briscoe over Jarryd Hayne any day. In fact, after watching the Canterbury v Parra game, i'd rather have Danny Tickle over Hindmarsh too.

OK... so maybe I overreated to your post but the point I am trying to make is that there are some people who only judge a players ability based on the hemisphere he happens to have been born in

| I don't. I'm a patriotic England fan. As an added bonus Jarryd Hayne's a Kumul and we'll get to see him against England int' winter.

| sounds similar to K Cunningham in a Challenge Cup game a few years back...always thought itt teh best tackle i ever saw as teh player was effectively over the line when KC got to him, lifted him, turned him and took him out of play...

Yeah, it was against Wigan on Mark Smith at Knowsley Road in 2002 IIRC.

Has he changed countries again? Last I heard he was either Fijian or Australian depending on who was going to pick him...

Fijian who only played for Fiji because the Aussies hadn't picked him. However, he's suddenly playing for the Aussies again (or at least was last year).

| It was a good tackle though, to come from that far out and make sure he wrapped the ball and turned the man was awesome, better than Briscoe's in my opinion because of the ground he covered to make the tackle.

Or
Flap flap
Hayne train or Hayne plane, I don't care
As an eels fan, I feel it's my duty to slip the missus (a doawgies fan) an eel after that performance

| Australia would be mad not to pick the Hayne train. He's an outstanding player. One of the best in the world in my opinion.
