Indeed over the next 10 seasons more NA clubs will replace English clubs until Ian Lenegan's Wigan get the whole of the SKY money and never lose a game again........

To be fair. Only one NA club will bring more to SL other than Catalans and the big 3 northwest clubs

My first games were watching Leeds and Hunslet going as a kid with dad or my mates big brothers. once I could get around on my own I was off on the buses to Wakey, Fev and Dewsbury, and Doncaster which is a club in mine and many people's hearts. You may remember the Yorkshire TV documentary on their serial losing "another bloody sunday". First time at Odsal a great memory. I saw Bill Ramsey chaired off there after David Watkins magic had seemingly won the cup match and Ramsey had other ideas. Bill recently died so I hope to go to his funeral and stand and watch outside see if I can recognise some of the Leeds greats who will attend. Bill was at Geoff Gunneys funeral a year or so back. With mates back in the seventies when we got cars we went to all the grounds. Worky and Haven being great trips........

Just as an aside you mention Odsal, I went there in 1960 with a friend from school and his dad to watch the top 4 play off final between Wakefield and Wigan, as I walked through the turnstile I looked down and saw a shiny half crown on the floor which swiftly ended up in my pocket

I have lived on Gods earth for the thick end of 73 years and to be honest until you unfortunately found your way on to this forum a few month ago I did not have a clue that you existed disappointing as it is it's something I'll have to learn to live with, To be perfectly honest I have a yellow band come across my screen when you post, unfortunately other people keep quoting you which to a large degree makes it pointless having an ignore button the last yellow band being the exception as I sneaked a look because I knew you wouldn't resist a pop, there are the odd posts of yours that I find hard to disagree with, but to be perfectly honest with all the plots and sub plots going round in your head, it gets a bit tedious on the other hand you could always turn to writing, the book How To Win Friends and influence People by Dale Carnegie springs to mind try reading it it might inspire you to better things.
