If SL isn't getting a second ref, what about referring to video ref if in doubt for potential strips and the like? Allow a set number of appeals for teams as well.

Why not? This Salford side has a more attractive and better brand of rugby than anything Wigan served up under Shaun 'knock people out' Wane for starters.

Because winning finals isn't about playing a better brand of rugby. If it was, wire wouldve won 2 grand finals against Wigan and saints would've won this years cup final.
