Quite harsh on Ireland that they drop three places in the rankings despite a good WC showing. Shows how daft these ranking systems can be at times.

Even so I'd say the next ten teams in front of them will have hardly played an international between them and I would say the Cook Islands would hammer everyone of them |

The Cook Islands probably would hammer them but that's not how rankings work as you know. South Africa would probably beat the majority of European nations ranked above them but they're down in 35th due to barely ever playing any international matches. |

South Africa need to be included in any European type competitions. Regular games v Ireland, Scotland, Wales and even France. They have a strong domestic set up and are deserving of as much help as we can give them. |

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
