Mr Churchill "Quote: Mr Churchill "A shield with a red rose and white rose with the stems crossing all above three gold lions.'"
My thinking being that this would demonstrate the strength and unity of the coming together of Yorkshire (white rose) and Lancashire (red rose) [from where, realistically, most England players will be drawn] for the greater good of England.
Anybody able to post mock ups of various ideas on here?'"
I see the logic in this and personally would like it HOWEVER it has northern connotations and whilst the domestic game for the foreseeable future will be seen as 'northern' the beauty of the international game is that anyone can get behind England RL whether your from Wigan or Weymouth because its England....We saw the beginnings of this on Saturday at wembley
Thus i think it would be better to do something more generic and inclusive.
