he clearly is behind, and coming round, look at the other picture, Briers legs are behind Abletts or look at teh video and sequence of events. Im not saying he punched him in the back of the head, but he clearly, and obviously punched him coming around the side from behind.

Just out of interest, what charge do you believe would have been sufficient?

I don’t really have a problem with the charge he got, I just think A) it should have been dealt with at the time, I cannot see why Child didn’t at all. He cant say he was unsighted or there was some kind dispute. And B) it doesn’t seem in-line with what we have seen from similar incidents before.

If this is how such an action will be judged in the future, I don’t really have a problem with it. But as I say, we will likely, in probably the near future see an incident where someone does something nearly identical and we will see a punishment wildly out of line with a one match ban reduced to a fine for an EGP.
