I don,t think there is, seem to remember Ian Millward saying around 10 years ago that there is no transparency between club and officials and then said a similar thing when he was at Castleford last season.
It seems as though the tail is wagging the dog these days and its becoming the referees performances is controlling the shape and outcome of the game, the RFL have created too many grey areas that enhances inconsistency.
The clubs are also at fault as well in overstretching the laws of the game, they do there homework on each individual referees weakness and use it to there advantage.
As we all know players dont play from the same hymn sheet and officials don,t referee from the same hymn sheet, if things don,t improve I can supporters turning there back on a game dominated by inconsistency and frustration.
