Quote: Bull Mania "To be fair to the Warrington fans, they had to pay last week (to watch in all honesty a meaningless game), they then have to pay again this week, then for the Saints game and again if they get to Old Trafford.
Now if yoru lucky enough to just have to pay for yourself, then paying £20 3 weeks in a row then even more for a final is a hit some folk can take (although not all). A lot will think, well i'll have to give this one a miss so i can afford the final.
If you've got a family though, how the heck can you expect them to afford to pay out for 3 games in a row then even more for a final ticket.'"
Exactly, nail on the head. Warrington fans, if they get all the way to Old Trafford, are looking at forking out 5 times in 7 weeks if you include the CC Final. Tough ask for many fans especially those with kids.
As a Leeds fan, if i had attended every none regular season game over the last 6 years, would have had to of paid for...
- 22 CC games, including 3 finals with travel down to London.
- 4 WCC games
- 18 Playoffs games including 4 Grand Finals.
That's 44 games in 6 seasons and could possibly be 45 in 2 weeks time. Also people have interests (especially on a Friday & Saturday night) other than rugby and when they've not commited to going (by buying a season ticket) it make's the decision to do something else easier. I myself missed last week at home to Wakefield as it was one of my best mate's birthday and simple stuff like that must pop up for most fans.
