Which player do you think came over here did ok/half decent, only to go back and be at the top of their game and make you think wow why not do that for us?
My personal one is Glenn Hall for the Cowboys and had two mediocre seasons at Bradford, regularly playes for NQC and high up on stats too. Also Fulton was pretty bad for Hudds, again he is a regular for Wests Tigers.

Gavin Miller. He might have played Origin briefly but by the time Rovers signed him he was playing reserve grade at Easts & his early career potential had disappeared.

Roger Millward revolutionised his game, turning him from a grafting back rower into a ball player. He won the Man of Steel at Rovers.

After he went back he dominated the game for 3-4 seasons, winning the Dally M & Rothmans medals, captaining Cronulla to the minor premiership, captaining NSW & playing for Australia.

Rovers only signed him because they couldn't get a work permit for Noel Cleal. He arrived a virtual unknown & went back the best player in the world.

Have to agree Miller was the 1st i thought of, then Martin Bella & Tony Martin when he went from London to Melbourne.

YES and did he not win man of steel when he played for us at the time he was god

As a Leeds Fan these players certainly went back better players
