I noticed this too.
At first I thought it was a lens flare but then once you see it, it's really, really annoying.
I can't understand how they possibly think this is a good idea.
(but then they did also come up with the margin meter...)

It's hugely distracting and unnecessary. I thought I was having a migraine or a stroke, until I realised it was meant to be there.

Eddie, Stevo, Phil Clarke?
Why do they (and Cullen last night) try to guess what the ref is going to do and what he has and hasn't seen when, if they stop banging on we would all be able to hear what the ref and then TJ is saying. We could then hear what he actually says to the player rather than Stevo guessing!

The interchange indicator is useful but the flashing colours relating to tackles/metres made is a pain in the backside.
