Maybe the players association could help individuals like him, Matt Cross and many others that need help, by offering professional assistance on a larger scale. It helps if the players are able to admit it to get treatment though. That is often the hardest step.
Not worth the gamble, can get you to a GF or can be a waste of $250k and damage your brand. it's a gamble and I guess for the hapless sharks any gamble may be deemed worth it!
