You should really check your facts before making statements like this. When Wigan got relegated, the attendances for 1st division rugby league fell by a huge percentage, whilst the second division attendances increased dramatically. Can't ever remember Wigan getting only 2,000 fans for any game. You should also take note of the fact that a good proportion of any crowd in those days were deliberatly lost, alledgedly something to do with directors beer money. | | |
