Phipps, I only went to Aberdare in the day which is why I can tell the tale. You escaped but many don't. Why give the game away...you could have sent some there and enjoyed the outcome!!

My old man is coming down and wanted me to find him a room last week and it was proving fruitless, he even suggested Newport as an option. I hence doubled my efforts and managed to get him a twin rlhererl for £50 per night. Not bad I thought.

I was surprised it was so cheap and still available. It usually hosts weddings and teacher courses, within walking distance of a two for one gastro pub too. Will have to get him to buy me some grub.
