The thing is they've inspected it today to see if the pitch was ready at this point which it isnt, by thursday it would have been fine. The rfl have panicked despite what the experts have said and now the attendance will be less than half what it would have been which is a shame for the young england stars and alot of people who now wont be able to attend the match.

Leigh has had next to no snow, the pitch at LSV is perfect today, all roads to LSV are clear and people can park safely on site without any concern.

Why take the risk?

The roads are safe in cas, and even where i am in cas at the top of a hill where its coldest the snow and ice is melting with a much warmer 3 days ahead there would have been no snow or ice left in cas by friday. There wasnt a risk, so as one of the many fans who now cant go its particularly annoying, but as i said its more of a shame for the players as now they wont get the chance to play in front of a good crowd.
