Yeah I saw him heaps in the toyota cup last season but you never know how they will take first grade but he doesn't seem fazed by it all.
It's not like we have multiple talents at full back (the best prospect we had was Chris Ashton IMO and a real shame he left) and the fact that Widdop seems to be able to attack and defend as opposed to one or the other means that despite only 2 first grade games a chance to play in a fairly meaningless friendly which should be an easy win with no pressure is the ideal place to take a look at him.
And I think 2 first grade games doesn't mean too much when you are behind Billy Slater, if he was at a club further down the ladder or a SL club he would have had plenty of games by now I have no doubt.
