Anderson is a great coach, always said it. He saved the NZ Warriors and as thanks for that the lazy, gutless players all turned on him because, shock horror, he demanded they put in effort.
So he left.
Went to England to kill some time and play around in the lower grades.
He came back home to Parramatta and they were a mess when he arrived. He worked out what he wanted, what he didnt need....but there was a while there when I think some at the club were wondering about him.
He's done very well, once again and just proven what a top class coach he is. Probably not among the very elite, I think Bellemy is out on his own in that regard, but still one of the top coaches for sure.
He deserves all the success he gets.
And let me end on this.....
Thank god for his couple of seasons in SL. I mean, it taught him everything he knows about the game and he would be nothing without his time coaching scrubbers like Long and co.
