Hey all,
Paul from League Weekly here. Just a quick appeal to those who take digital cameras to games or have decent camera phones ... From this week, we're asking fans to send us their photos from matches or other RL events - perhaps of funny stuff you've seen at your away days. Or if you're a member of an amateur club you may have a new kit or something to plug. Or you might just be having such a great time watching RL that you want to share it with us. Just send us a pic. Special Brownie points if your photo shamelessly features someone (better still a celeb!) reading League Weekly, or if you can get a copy of League Weekly pictured in a strange, or far-flung place.
Any of you who have seen this week's issue will get the gist of the idea from looking at p31 – under the new 'In the Sheds' interview with James Graham, dishing the dirt on his Saints teammates. If you haven't seen it, get your hands on one (or maybe just have a quick inconspicuous gander in WH Smiths).
We really want to get the fans involved this season because we're sick of seeing the ugly mugs of Ray French, Dave Parker, Maurice Bamford and Shaun Briscoe every week. So if you fancy getting your face in the paper for a change, or getting one of your mates in, then drop us a line to editor@league-weekly.com. Alternatively, if you've got any suggestions you want to make to us then that's fine - give me an email to paul@league-weekly.com. Hopefully we might have an exciting new 'signing' to tell you about soon.
Finally, a quick thanks to those of you who have already sent pics in, should you be reading this.
Thanks,
Paul Bennett
