| Reading between the lines you get to the top tier by investment & progression.
Invest your own cash, spend all your salary cap as well as having the A grade licence obviously has facilities and structures that have a minimum requirement.
Given this where does this put us?
The big fella needs to pull his finger out or move on?.

| We are nowhere near in all honesty. More likely to be league 1 than SL.

| Pretty much the only thing we've got going for us is the Academy.
That's offset by the shockingly bad stadium, lack of investment, poor on-field performances, dwindling crowds, dreadful back office setup, amateurish social media etc
We're Grade B at best, and that's probably borderline with Grade C

| Difficult to say without seeing the weighting of criteria, however if we are anywhere near a ‘B then the whole process is a bit of a joke. The club is an embarrassment in just about every area other than the academy.

| Clearly all past winners of SL should be categorised as Class A.

| Makes you realise, if we didn't already (through Leigh, York etc) just how critical this stadium decision is more than any other that's gone before. If this fails it's oblivion so I can understand, having insider knowledge, why Nige is throwing his weight behind that and temporarily neglecting the playing side.

With Nigel’s weight behind it then it must be nailed on…

But if anything the latest Statement from Mr Hirst seems to suggest we are up for sale to the right bidder....

I think we always have been tbh. There have been previous statements to the like before this, but ultimately if there is nobody willing to take on the club, then how does Big Nige vacate the scene?
Personally I am still pinning my hopes to the new stadium being the solution to many of our problems. If it gets the green light to go ahead then I can see the club being sold very quickly as having a modern home that pays for itself makes for a much better investment.
That said, ironically I can see it being the very fans who shout and scream about getting Wood out of the club that could lead to the project failing. The government will have to weigh up its options and when the lead tenant has a supporter based as volatile as ours seems to be at the moment, then is that an attractive investment?

| Nigel and his pals are the ones responsible for supporters feeling ed off or "volatile".
I'm happy to keep my trap shut for all the good it will do but I doubt DCMS do much checking on here.
The way the economy and latest government is going I'd be amazed if the levelling up cash amounts to more than window dressing in a few marginal seats.

They may not trawl the message boards but any small amount of due diligence will spot the discontent between club and supporters. Not disputing who may have been the original cause but the facts remain... who is out there ready to buy up the club right now?

| So tricky at the moment as I completely understand why so many have turned away from the club. I’ve been tempted to also but I’ve not managed to break away yet.
But then again it’s self defeating. The owners, players, RFL men etc have all had a go and walked away and it’s us fans left with the club at heart. The more we turn away, the more it makes it even less likely to ever get back to anything like a respectable high end championship side never mind one ready for super league.
That being said, all those old fans won’t just come along because a volunteer CEO said it’s time to draw a line in the sand and back the club despite not giving anything back to the fans.
It works both ways unfortunately and the current club has been way too focused on what they can take from the fans over recent years.
If they want us to back it, bloody build something for us to back like our competition are doing.
