All three I would have thought would have been important to Toronto as which club can really afford to lose three front row forwards? Question is, most clubs won't have enough cap to cover them... do any of them sound of interest to the Bulls.
Dave Taylor is way off the mark as his salary alone would rule him out, but what about Bailey or Moi Moi... its been 10 years in the making... could he actually become a Bull?

| they've got experience in the division. did they pull up trees last year? they'd need to because they'd be higher earners in the squad

| Controversial, but I'd be after Bailey. We need an utter b4st4rd up front with our young squad, so long as Kear can get him to channel it properly

| Only possible would be Bailey. Taking into account wages, age then being sacked plus the recent drugs test case I wouldn't be bothering.

| Taylor - would cost too much and is obviously a massively bad influence on everyone around him, judging by what he was like at Catalans, never mind Toronto. Anybody signing him needs their head examining
Moi Moi - pretty much past it - but would still cost too much. Will presumably go back to Oz
Bailey - clearly two sandwiches short of a picnic, barely escaped getting banned as a drugs cheat only last week, would still demand more money that we've got to spend
I think that just about sums it up

Hang on, someone gets sacked - this close to the start of the season - and you want to [isign[/i them?!
Does the fact that they got sacked not tell you anything? It should be ringing huge alarm bells and telling you to not touch them with a 20ft pole.
Obviously their attitude stinks and they would do nothing but cause disruption.
I don't want any of them anywhere near our club and hopefully John Kear is smart enough to think the same.

| Obvs without knowing the circumstances it's difficult to comment but out of the three I'd rather have Moi Moi - provided he's still up to it. The other two have histories.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, it didn't stop us last year did it. The player, who was waiting to find out if he'd be sent to prison, was even made captain.

The details have yet to emerge so who knows what the situation is. Darryl Griffin was recently sacked but later emerged texts of agreement and now looks a ploy to shed some cap to enable Hock to sign.
Personally of the four recently "sacked" players, I would take a punt at either Griffin or Moi Moi. Think despite their age they have both shown themselves to be incredibly fit and capable of doing a job we need in the front row. We need experience and leadership.
We've took gambles last year in Tonga and Moore, one turned out to be poor whilst the other turned out to be a master stroke as his experience lead that young pack around the field.
I guess it depends who Kear has got lined up in the next couple of weeks as mentioned on Mick's interview. If its Sironen (which I really hope it is) or a similar type then I think we are ok.
If its another back however I still think we are short of quality and grunt up the middle.

| I don't think Kear is the type of coach to be drawn towards a big name player and I suspect the club can't afford a big name right now. I would expect Kear signings to be solid reliable types possibly unknown to most of us who he knows he can trust 100%. I don't see Kear as a gambler so I don't expect any of them to turn up unless they were just about free.
Also agree with above about why sacked now and what a gamble that would be. Not me thank you.

| Last year I think i’d have been desperate for us to sign any of them as we had no players and desperately needed bodies to help fight our 12 point deduction.
This season we appear to have a good squad with a couple more to come in (utility player Roger mentioned and player John Kear mentioned) which I think will be more than good enough for League 1 where we will be starting on zero points.
I wouldn’t want to upset the balance and hard working team that has gone through pre season together with any of those 3.
Incidentally the Bulls Instagram did a story yesterday which showed the head shot of each squad player in the new shirt. The triallist Dan King had one which suggests he has signed? You wouldn’t bother doing that unless he was going to be part of the team would you?

| I'd expect Dan King to be announced at some stage. He has his own peg in the changing room at Tong. Only signed players have one.

| Bailey hopefully. He is just what Bradford need, a big bully! Some might not like him, but we missed one essential thing over the past few years: Big bully beef.
