Hi I paid my season ticket to the last lot by Lloyds credit card and applied to be re-imbursed, everything went smoothly and appeared to be on course to be paid after 45 days. I then felt confident and purchased a new season ticket from the new club.Now they state that the retailer has resubmitted the charge through their bank. They also send a copy of Andrew Chalmers statement saying the club will be honouring 2017 season tickets already purchased by supporters. Has anybody else had these dealings with Lloyds, I understand other credit cards have refunded.

I can tell you that I just checked my Yorkshire Bank account and my 49 day possible re-charge date passed last Thursday, and they haven't done so. I can't imagine what circumstances could cause yours to be different as, so far as I know, it's the card companies who run it not the individual banks.

Halifax didn't and they are the same banking group!!! They accepted that I paid for membership with added benefits last year which is materially different to a season ticket. Worth a challenge I'd say.

Also didn't the club have a template latter stating the differences for this reason? I think I remember them mentioning it but I never needed it?

I got my money back all OK, i sent my credit card company the email the club sent me which worked. The key part of the email is they aren't offering all the benefit that the previous owners where offering.

Ok they will honour the season ticket

They aren't offer the discounts on the shirts and the discount on the bash weekend etc.

Basically the deal isn't the same.

I should have that email somewhere if you require it sending.

I have exactly the same problem with Lloyds, and spoke to the club only an hour or so ago. They reassured me they had not resubmitted the charge. Lloyds also sent copies of documentation from a company called Bogrun (who I assume are Lloyds agents) based in Iceland of all places (the country not the freezer place) All they seem to have done is to have scanned the T & A article which quoted Chalmers letter saying they would honour season tickets. Lloyds totally ignored the copies of letters I sent pointing out the difference between an 1863 membership and the basic season ticket now being offered.

I have since received a text message from Lloyds and they say now they will defend the charge and keep the refund in place for 60 days whilst they look into it further.

The helpful lady at the Bulls asked if I had kept receipts from either paying on the turnstile or a credit card if buying a ticket, as that would be something else to put to Lloyds, i.e why would I pay on the day if I already had a season ticket. Regrettably I hadn't thought of doing that.

It can't be "the club" (ie the current one run by Cha-Low) who submitted the charge, but the "old one" run by Marc Green, as it was him, to whom the original payments were made.

One of the strangest aspects was, when I initially rang the bank, they claimed that some supporters had told them that they had actually received their ticket. Given this was around Christmas time, it can't have been true as the club had gone bust long before then. I did think the 'ticket' fans had spoken of was actually the receipt, printed on a blank matchday ticket, that they'd mistaken for a ticket. Even if Green's company had printed tickets and sent them out, they couldn't have honoured them (which was the point, surely) as their business had gone bust.

Challenge it, thanks to Ricky I forwarded the original letter from the Bulls saying only cash payers with a receipt would be honoured with a free season ticket . I got a phone call extending the delay for another 45 days, I asked who had re-submitted the charge and was told the old liquidated Bulls, not the new Chal/lowe version. I asked how can a liquidated company demand it, he replied its the administrator trying to get the money back. This for a service that was not fulfilled.
