I thought the idea was to get as near minus 12 as possible - so on that basis I'm currently in second place

Perhaps the lino is one of the five players participating in the prediction game that successfully predicted the Bulls result and purposefully disallowed that try to match his own interests?

Also, I think I should be on 8, not 9, unless you credit one point for the wining team and then a further 5 points for the correct margin?

Yes, that's how I've scored it. One point for every correct winning team plus five bonus points for the margin
