| Has anybody bought anything from the club shop lately that required delivery, and what was your experience like?
About three weeks ago my misses ordered some stuff from the club shop, and living in Salford we paid delivery. Since then we have seen nothing appear through the letterbox. She got on the phone to the club today and it turns out they haven't sent anything out for a while because they are "having problems" with Royal Mail. Now correct me if I am wrong, but surely if they were having problems with Royal Mail they should be telling people wishing to use the delivery service first before they accept payment for delivery, and secondly they should be letting their customers know the status of the "problems" insofar as "have they been resolved yet?".
So I'm scratching my head here - what "problems" could Royal Mail possibly be having with the Bulls. Is it a collection issue? Do they have wagons that are too big to fit down the road past Cue Gardens? Are their drivers pig-headed to our staff? Are they on strike? This all seems unlikely.
Or are we just not paying their invoices......?

Regardless of what the problems with Royal Mail are, that's p*ss poor service from the club.

| Even if there is no way for them to get it delivered, they should at least tell customers that when they're ordering. Advise them of the situation when they order, so the customer can make a decision based on the correct info. Only telling people when they ring up to ask where their stuff is, is quite terrible.

That's not the half of it either. Originally, she ordered enough stuff to qualify for the 50 quid free delivery amount, but a day or two later got a call saying that they no longer had something in stock that she had ordered, and refunded the money for that item (was pleased with that aspect of the service, by the way). However that took the total under the free delivery amount and the management refused to honour the free delivery for the original order. They didn't tell us this, though. They held on to the order until she called a week later asking where it was, at which point they said it wasn't sent cos postage hadn't been paid! So we begrudgingly paid the postage and now this.
