| The RFL needs to look at the format of the qualifiers. There was only two wins for championship clubs in the entire fixture list and of these only one was meaningful and the other a dead rubber. As time goes by the disparity between the championship and super league will become more apparent. I agree with Jimmy Lowes in saying that it is a floored system. I want to see competitive matches that are too close to call but I cannot see this happening in the foreseeable future. If Addy`s kick had gone over or the decision was given that the ball was stripped (two in the tackle) I think the Bulls would have gone on to win the game but I would still hold the opinion that there needs to be changes to the present format. It is very unfair how you can play thirty one games and miss out been promoted due to one kick or a refereeing decision.

| I don't mind the format. BUT for a championship club to get promoted they HAVE to raise the salary cap for championship teams.
Bring the signing deadline forward a couple of months and that should improve things.

| Not sure what raising the salary cap would do. Have we got the funds for an increased salary cap?

Who knows, perhaps not but somebody like Leigh might. But it isn't realistic for the middle 8's to be competitive until everyone has the opportunity to be on an equal footing. I still feel there would be issues regarding the increase in intensity that Championship clubs would have to magically get up to speed with though.

| Bulls probably spent about the same as Wakey.
You can still only spend a percentage of income, up to the cap.
The imbalance is not simply down to the cap.

Please don't say Wakefield only spent a million on wages when they had the chance to spend 1.8 million. Come on get serious, we lost to the better team today but don't make stuff up for the sake of it

| Wakefield had, by far, the lowest spend in SL.
I wouldn't be surprised if some championship clubs had bigger spends. Declared or otherwise.

Amended, not removed.
Cap is finite..1.85M.
But with links to income.
Wakefield could not spend the full cap (even if they wanted to), as their income was not high enough. Reference Michael Carter, Wakefield Chairman for this info.
Of course. Beaumont at Leigh is the new Koucash...

| Just we can spend more in SL doesn't mean we did. MC has repeatedly said we have been spending nowhere near the cap all year. It would explain us making cheap loan and one year deal signings.
For the record, aside for Jimmy Lowes, really impressed with Bradford. Reckon all is not lost and you will be back in SL.

| Not sure what use an increase in the cap will do to help us on a a day where the club have admitted they don't know if they can commit to a full time squad in 2016
