Leigh fan sends his son to LSV to pay for tickets for sundays game, son gets home and realises he has lost tickets and a small amount of cash on the way home - he is distraught.

Dad gets home from work and asks via Leigh Social Media if anyone finds tickets etc to get in contact - Aaron gets in contact saying he has found the tickets and to message him - son is relieved and fans praising the honesty.

Turns out Aaron is winding the fan up and doesnt have the tickets at all indeed he is a Bulls fan who seems to have previous with your social media admin for being a tool and has been banned from your site - as posted by the people running those sites who were very honest of their experiences with him eg'' I complained to odsal about him. His language is disgusting in front of young kids. He was supposed to be working with them for the foundation and did nowt but swear'' - was one comment

We all have the odd tool within our ranks, please encourage the prat to grow up if you see him.
ps the tickets were found on the grass near to LSV and have been handed in now

I remember going to Leigh in 95/96. maybe even have been 1994 and getting a free ticket from a woman that came out of her house. Was a great gesture, and even better because my Grandad had only gone and left his wallet at home.

We were desperatley trying to flag down anybody we knew on the motorway. We did and borrowed some cash but now he could afford a pint in the ground too.

We have a unique spirit in RL in that we are fiercely loyal to our club but will also help out a fellow supporter if needed irrespective of club loyalty -and long may that continue

The Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Director of Rugby and Chairman/Owner of a club is entitled to a free ticket to any match in the division with advance notice. This does not have to involve the club they are associated with. This has been the case for a long time. Derek was told he would not be given this right and was further told that he would not be allowed into the ground if he traveled over even if he payed for a ticket.

Paul Rowley however was allowed to attend and given a ticket.

Seems extremely childish to be honest.

Derek is away for Sunday so I guess we'll never know if he'd have been allowed in to watch the Leigh game.

I know at the Bulls they work hard to maintain a family friendly atmosphere.
No doubt they'd look to refuse entry to anybody who they felt might not respect that.
