Totally agree and was disgusted by the ref's refusal to even look at it from the booth. One of a line of Saint's misdemeanors against us. Didn't Peacock have a try also disallowed earlier in the game? (my memory is not what it was then)

Blimey, I think you might be right. I can't believe this has never been discussed before. You'd have thought someone would have mentioned it.

Actually, joking aside, last night was the first time (unbelievably) that I have seen the incident on the TV. I was at the game and it looked a bit blatant from the Stretford End but seeing it last night highlights just how bad a decision it actually was.

Abso-bloody-lutely mate. It's amazing how things are glossed over at the time and then 'airbrushed' out of history without anyone realising what went on.

I did hear another story about Leon Pryce being denied a try in different game because of some blunder by someone claiming Mick Withers had knocked on when all the evidence made it clear he didn't. That never gets mentioned either.

The really sad thing is that when you go through our line up you just say 'what a great player' after each name. Can't help but wonder how many players from the last 3/4 years would have made that 17.

Not many. They'd have all been children then, surely?

Has anyone ever thought that even if a penalty was given he may of still missed the conversion and we'd of lost anyway
