| Well I look forward to the next game - but have to admit I like to watch Batley and I can place them as my "second" team.
If we take as many as we did to Leigh - the place will be rammed!
To those who like a pie in the ground, please note the pie serving ladies warm them in a proper oven so waiting times can be lengthy.
That said - its better to oven cook them, unlike Featherstone - who were microwaving pukka pies so you ended up with steamed pastry - yuk!
Anyway - another test for our lads - on probably the most slopy pitch in the league - can't wait

| Had a look on the Batley website for ticket prices and it had some photos from their home game against Fax. Unless the pitch has improved drastically in two weeks, looks like it could be a good old mud fest. Can't wait.

| I take it away fans usually go in the stand behind the sticks?
I went to get my ticket this morning, It sounds like Batley have asked for Bulls to print the tickets, as my ticket is just white with 'Batley Bulldogs v Bradford Bulls' on it. I asked the lady that sold me it and she said "Batley have asked for us to print them".

| Same question as I posted on the parallel thread for the Fev game
Can someone describe the ground, the various stands, where to sit or stand etc?
Also when you look on Google Maps, it looks like the ground is at the end of a cul-de-sac, literally 'one way in, one way out'. So where is the best place to park?

I can only give you my own experiences - but they are limited to attendances of 300-500 - 800 - I think if 2000 turn up - the place will melt and they will love us!
There us a mosque in the vicinity too so parking is not easy - you are correct - its a cul-de-sac at the top of a steep hill with Fox's Biscuits at the bottom, follow the smell of biscuits and you wont be far from the ground.
I usually park at the bottom of the hill near Fox's and walk up - but if there is nothing available - at worse, with a fair walk there is Tesco car park and a couple of small car parks to the back of the high street.
I have sat and stood all over the ground dependent upon weather - always found it a friendly and informal place to visit.
I guess we might see where the band sets up and follow them? Its nowhere near like Leigh or Featherstone in terms of where "away fans" must go.

| Just looking at the attendance for Batleys home game against Halifax last week, the attendance was 1,113. I'd imagine there will be at least that many Bradford fans.
Looking forward to this game, one of the positives of being relegated is visiting grounds like this.

I would imagine there will be 3000-4000 bulls fans.

Was going to say that's a bit optimistic, but then realised that it's only Batley so in terms of travel it's not a huge diatance

Batley is only 3 miles from my house, nearer than Odsal.

| I liked Tommo.
For sure he wasn't the most consistent performer we ever had, but he was very much the extrovert with some of his stuff. The sort of player who generally makes watching RL such a pleasure, in fact.
A stand named after him in Batley? Well, good on him and good on them, I say.
