Haven't seen any mention of him in the last couple of weeks.Did we actually go through with the signing or was he released?

I can't see the need for anyone in the 2nd row/centre tbh. He looks a solid enthusiastic player and I hope he gets a deal somewhere.

Think they said no deal at moment but will keep him in mind for future. Think it's more sensible to keep any cap space free and see where we may need cover rather than tie it up at this stage in positions were well covered in.

There was something in another T&A Story, I think last week. Said something along the lines of them wanting to find a place for him at the club, but struggling to do so (implied salary cap reasoning), but if opportunity came up to get him in, they would like to.

I'm sure he's a great guy and probably a decent player, but why would we need another back rower when we've got about ten people already who can play in the back row?

Yeah I think Ferres said that they wanted to bring him on board but there wasn't the capacity to at the moment.
