| Rather strange the telegraph and argue ran that story today, I know it's a slow news period but was there any real need for a "here's what you could have won" moment. Thought it was all common knowledge anyway at the time and find it ironic they bring it up now when his name was barely mentioned by the rag when we were linked with him

| Another in a long list of average British half backs. Him & Myler are almost inseparable in ability.

| I think it's a tad unfair to judge O'Brien when he's not had any kind of reasonable run to build confidence or even show what he can do. Would agree about Myler who hasn't really kicked on after hype he got as a junior. Both are still young enough though - and maybe half back isn't even their best position, we do have a habit of sticking these positional straitjackets around what are basically young underdeveloped players..

Yeah the days of halfbacks of Deacon's quality are long gone.

Well, he's certainly a forward NR but is his best spot no.8 or 13? I confess, I don't see him at hooker.

The parallels with Matty Smith are there for all to see. At least Deacs could kick.

Apparently he has the makings of a good centre - or maybe Bath are looking for a plug hole

| Ha, indeed, union is a whole world I've yet to fully explore..but maybe I'll leave it for another lifetime, I'm far too busy enjoying myself in this.

| To have sufficient time on your hands to immerse yourself in yawnion would be the equivalent of missing out on purgatory & entering straight into eternal damnation.

Indeed Dante's description of the never ending rolling maul in the 5th circle should be a warning to all upstanding RL fans.
Though in light of recent events Ben Flowers may have some difficulty getting through the Pearly Gates
