With it looking more and more likely that even with your 6 points back you'll still go down, Is it worth it taking The RFL to court?? It's going to cost you thousands and thousands which would be better put to use in rebuilding your squad for next year. It's obliviously going to put you in the RFL bad books, is it worth it?

It wont happen. Green comes across as a desperate fella that publicly says one thing and I suspect privately says another. This "action" is merely to keep those few floating fans coming through the gate from now till the end of the season in the hope that they will see their team escape relegation. Not really helped his cause by not giving any detail as to why he feels this terrible miscarriage of justice has happened (twice).

This not that am an expert but the issue is not really about the points but the process and if the RFL have in any way been at fault then I am pleased that Marc Green has decided to this on.

You are quite correct I don't think it is only about the six points either - it might be about justice and integrity of the sport! We shall see.......

If we hadn't lost the 6 points we would still probably be relegated. But there is just a tiny bit of me that wonders how the season would have panned out if we hadn't lost the 6 points, or got some of them back early in the season. The points deduction has clearly affected performances. There's been a resignation about relegation for most of the season.

If we hadn't lost all of the points my guess is that we would probably have picked up another 2 or 3 wins. Still in the relegation mix but not down.

I still think he's wasting his time with the appeal. But as you say its his money

So imagine this scenario, the case we have revolves around 'promises' the RFL gave to BBB2014, which they subsequently went back on, for whatever reason. The organising body would be shown to be colluding against the registered and approved owner. Great example of leadership and governance in the sport. We'll soon know if that's the case, as there will be an out of court settlement (no way the RFL would let it go all the way in that case!), with a nicely worded comms about need to move on, in the best interest of all parties, blah blah and an out of court settlement received and no further comment would be made by any party. No points back, but Green gets some cash and the option to buy back the lease at a 'fair' price, which he does, then having obtained an asset looks to recover his cash by selling the club! If this isn't the scenario and Green's end game (maybe not selling the club, but getting some cash!), I don't see any sense in what he's doing, in probably throwing good money after bad!

Of course, the whole business with BB2014 also includes the fact that, since they had not come to any agreement with Omar Khan, they were never actually 'the owners', not that this stopped the RFL from regarding them as such and allowing them to represent the club at meetings in Red Hall.

I suspect, case coming to a conclusion or not, that heads will roll.

There was never any question of BB2014 coming to an agreement with OK, i think you are confusing the deal for MM &RW to buy OK's shares in OKB.

BB2014 weren't the owners but were provisional owners subject to no better offers coming in, and did get a 1 month licence so were present at meetings legitimately.
