I see that Hull FC managed to get 7 games out of Carvell before his next move.

Bizarre. So he leaves us where he would have been guaranteed a first team spot every week to go to Hull, to not play and then out on loan.
Think that says a lot.

3 clubs in one season says a lot about him,looks like he doesn't like it when the going gets tough.Although I do rate him as a player,maybe he thinks he's too good to be playing in a struggling team

Carvell leaving took more from our confidence than our team.

Even if we tried to Loan him back, I very much doubt he would have accepted.

In all honestly I think it was more to do with will I be paid. Near the end of his career wanted the money and security that you couldn't offer. Not ended up too bad for him has it. No worry all season about where the mortgage money will come from and has ended up with a team near the top of the league.
That said never liked the guy played in junior ranks with him wasnt his biggest fan

He's going on loan from a team 3 points outside the top 8 to one that's in the Challenge Cup semi final and in 3rd spot. I'd take Daryl Powell's judgement over anyone on here.

Not sure who was questioning Powell's judgement??

But I would say on Carvell, albeit has proven to be a great player... his loyalty to clubs and maybe his desire at the back end of his career could come into question. Time will tell when he pulls on the Cas shirt.

I have no ill feeling towards the guy so best of luck.
