Interesting that's he's considering the option of going to High Court which would seem costly in both time and money.

I find his comment of the deduction being unpopular with others within the game a little odd, I can't recall any support from others in the media.

He means the club appealing the points decision is unpopular.

It will be if he goes through with it, because it would be months before it was heard, with total uncertainty for all in the meantime. If we break the habits of a lifetime and actually score some league points, it could mean a different club being relegated after the season had finished.

He publicly stated that every other club should support the right of appeal if the game was to have any credibility. he publicly stated that every club should stand by the decision of the appeals panel. He publicly stated he would stand by whatever decision was reached.

Now he is saying he doesn't stand by the decision of the appeals panel. I hope he does take his case to the High Court. Who will he be challenging. The RFL who handed down the original decision, or the appeals panel who upheld it?

His WW2 analogy is not only highly inaccurate, it is entirely distasteful.

He would be much better served focusing much more on positives like the club staying full time.

I hope he does appeal, only to pee off the Wakey fans, it's already the most talked about issue on their paranoid 'board'. In reality though, he is just saying the things he thinks Bulls fans want to hear. The chances of getting any points back are slim & the potential financial & reputational cost huge.
