| So we are just less than a week away from the game against London. Let the build up begin! What team would you pick?
For me this game is a must win considering that we will get a points deduction however London's recent plight means we can maybe afford to play a youngster or two and still get the win.
1. Kearney
2. Kear
21. Henry
3. Purtell
5. Foster
16. Addy
7. Gale
8. Scruton
19. O'Brien
29. Mullally
11. Olbison (if fit)
24. Mellor
13. Donalson
9. Diskin (if Conroy is on bench put Diskin on at LF as he did at Wakey).
14. Manuokafoa
15. Sidlow
23/25. Roberts/Conroy

| I know he was quality against Wakey but I'm looking at it as giving a start to O'Brien rather than 'benching' Diskin. Plus nowadays we can't exactly expect to beat the likes of Cas, Wakey, Salford etc but London we can to a certain extent considering half of their players are practically academy players.

| The problem we have with the Ponies is they usually give us an @*se kicking when we think they are there for the taking. I hope Franny has the nous to drill that into the Team! We are probably the one team of late that Tony Rea will rub his hands and tell his players they've got a good chance of a result!
Not that I expect them to turn us over! but..................

| I'm looking at this as a complete opposite to the OP.
This is a game we need to win, we play our strongest possible team and we get the 2 points as a priority.
The time for resting players and giving youngsters like Roberts a chance is in the games where we are way off the pace and don't really need/expect to win.
Wigan/Wire/Saints away are the sort of games where I would have one of Roberts/Mellor/Conroy on the bench and let them come on and get stuck in with no pressure to pick up the two points.
We start resting players against relegation rivals and we are just asking for trouble imo, to slip up at home against London/Wakey/Widnes would be a disaster.

| Yes, agreed. Strongest team out for this one and for our relegation contenders. Wakey, Warrington, etc.
Rest players for away games at Saints.

Warrington...
Seriously, of course, yes - we simply cannot afford to lose any more 4-pointers. Since, sure as hell, that is what the opposing coach and players will be thinking.

Agree entirely. use games against top teams to rest any of key players with niggles too. Thats when we give the younger lads a run out to get experience.

| We must put out a strong team we need the points and as in the past we have underestimated the Ponies and come off second best.

| I'd go for the same thema we put out on Thursday, is must win if we are going to have points deducted we need to gain as many as we can whilst we can and make up for the possible 7 game losing streak through April.
We could also do with putting 30+points on them, thought our first 3 games we would need to get at least 4 pts from 6 and we look on course for that.

| It's another must win game and with a possible points deduction we have to pick our strongest team for this one.

| I wonder how FC will handle the Kear/George dilemma.
We can't drop George and then Kear every other week. That doesn't send any kind of useful message to the two lads about what is expected of them other than "I don't have any faith in either of you".
One possibility that lets FC have a look at both of them would be moving Kearney to Stand off. That would let Kear have a go at Full back and George retain his wing spot. Olbison then loses out to Addy.
