Truly shocked & saddened when the minutes silence was announced per game today. You kind of thought that Steve was just indestructible, even when so Ill. RIP to a truly GREAT man!

Sad sad news. What an inspirational man. Given months to live and he lasted 7 years, chose not to let it beat him and the work he did when he was so ill is an outstanding testament to the willpower and mental toughness he had. RIP Steve.
On a side note I didn't think a minutes silence was appropriate for this man so I was moved when the crowd gave him a minutes applause instead.
