Is he out of contract this year? He was at the Salford game tonight in hospitality, there's been a rumour that Koukash noble Dave Mathews CEO and chase went to Leeds on Wednesday night to talk to two players. Had anyone else heard anything?

Well I guess every player has their price, if Salford are prepared to pay that price then it's probably not a bad thing for RL.
Regarding Sammut, as others have stated he has a contract for next year so a fee would be coming our way.

Not trying to mix anything if ive come across that way but why would he be at our game tonight in hospitality there got to be something in it? he was even applauding our tries when we scored, would be a great partner for Chase. |

I would have though chase and sammut played similar roles, but I could be wrong, if money talks salford have plenty of mouth. Don't worry about stiring red league, if he does go he is a cracking player abit unpredictable will be greatly missed, just hope he goes for the right reasons, I.e to win something no offence to salford red but think they are a few season away from winning anything.

If the dr stays with it and keeps the right people in charge and does ome smart business, seem to be signing older players at the mo but 3-5yrs top 6 and serious contenders I think for salford, bradford hopefully we can move on with our sponsorship and recruitment and be back to the 6 in the mwxt year or so, not the size of the dog in the fight. |
