Think so. Just pay difference at entrance to stand.

Yes, once you're in the ground you can just pay the upgrade price to go sit in the stand

The direct transfer is to the unreserved seating at either end of the stand. If you'd like to be nearer the half way line you could go to the ticket office and they'd help you to choose a seat. My advice is to go to the ticket office early as it gets busy the nearer you get to kick off.

I'd pay the £5 for the unreserved seating, go in with 5 minutes to spare, and then just grab yourself which ever seat you want.

The stand is empty on a match day, you really do have a pick of a few hundred seats.
