Might be a little premature but this game is easily winnable if we put our heads down to it. So far the Cup run has been kind to us (Rochdale now London) and we should book a place in the Quarter Finals. They are not on the same level as Wigan, Warrington or Leeds so I don't feel the game will be as intense, the team I would go for is this:

I'd rest Purtell, I feel like he has been one of our better players so I'd be tempted to give him a rest or Lulia to see if he returns like the old Keith we know.

I'd play O'Brien instead of Diskin to prepare for him for the run in to the end as I feel Diskin doesn't give enough now, although still a good player he doesn't show the heart that O'Brien does.

Donaldson on the bench, coming on to replace Gale (if he's poor) and shift Addy to the halves.

Evans to start as I feel this is the only way to get him match fit and can also provide very good impact in the first 10-15 mins he's on.

Is it just me who feels that the London game might well be a tough battle down there? Playing in front of a couple of men and a dog there could be a danger that we look a little flat. Hopefully Franny will really drum into the players just how important this game is to the club.

Don't think we can afford to rest any tbh. Has to be strongest available team we put out. Hopefully Bateman will be fit to return.

TBH, if we have Platt fit then I'd be tempted to drop Kearney and move Kear to FB. His form over the last month or so has been sporadic at best and a little nudge just to remind him that he's not indispensable might just sort his head out.

A cup match, away to another SL team, is not the place to be resting anyone. We might even go into the game as slight favourites but it's a potential banana skin without doubt and the coach 'resting' people is just the wrong message.

I'd argue dropping Lulia would be a higher priority. I don't know if his nose has been put out of joint by the Leeds move being turned down or not, but he doesn't seem that bothered most of the time, and certainly isn't showing anywhere near the ability or form he had last year.

With all fit, I'd be playing Purts & Blythe in the centres and have Kear & Platt on the wings (until Foster is ready to return anyway).

I agree Kearney hasn't been too fantastic, but he's been much better than Keith. And Kearney can win you a game if he hits form.

Lulia may not be hitting the form that he did last year, but I don't think we'll find anyone better to replace him in Super League.

Keith will be alright, once his hair grows back.

This is a game we all think we should win,also it's a game we all think we could lose,whoever wins will be in the quarter final of the cup and without taking another look at this weekends games,I know Halifax are playing Sheffield,so there will be at least one championship team in the last 8.Whoever draws the winner of that game will fancy their chances of getting through to the semi final,80 minutes then from Wembley

If we beat London no doubt we will get Wigan away in next round

Lets be honest here in that we have had 2 decent cup draws, despite the doom mongers saying that it would be first round against a top 4 club (away) and then second round against the same ilk (away), we are in a fair position.
No way is London going to be anything other than a full on battle for Cup glory as they have little chance of gaining a top 8 spot.
We need to beat London and to hell with who we will be drawn against thereafter.

Right now, Purtell & Blythe are better centres, and they're already in our squad.
