| So after playing them barely a month ago, we go up against the Rhinos again this Friday (great work fixture planners)
Tough game for us, Leeds are on a real roll, however with home advantage I'm hoping we can maybe just sneak a win. However we certainly need to improve our attack from the last two games, particularly when we are in their 20m.
Hoping for a big crowd, however I'm not as excited or pumped up for the match as I should be as it is so soon after we last played them.

Doesn't look like it, looks like it could be fairly mild too.

What no more doom and gloom from you this year Eddie?
Is that because you are ever thankful we helped bail your lot out?
FWIW I do like reading your posts and most times you do talk sense.
Forecast is for a dry mild night so should be a good open game.
We should win but then again we should have won last month against your lot.

Anyway, doom and gloom? That all ended when McNamara left TBF bonzo. Mr Respectable me these days.
You were probably right and now you have one of our very own showing you how to play
From what I have seen of you this season you are playing some decent rugby.
The pack is holding it`s own and you are probably 2 or 3 decent players short in the backs to be a top 5 team.
If Sammut plays to his potential and either Kearney or Gale get their act together you will certainly give us a good workout before we take on your new enemy Huddersfield!
Keep those comments coming Eddie,

Mr Cummins has done well thus far, that much is true but now is his hardest stint so far in his reign IMO. We have had back-to-back-to-back games against the three best sides in the competition and in the first two we have not really been in with a chance whatsoever. After the Leeds game we will see where we are as a side. Sadly whilst there will be plenty on here that would take a win over Leeds over anything, I would rather have had a result against Wigan or Wire going into this game TBH. I would have taken 2 points from 6 from the three fixtures before they started so it might be our turn this time!
Still, thanks for your fine comments about our side. It shows the right way that RL can unite people. Leeds are the team that we are all trying to aspire to at the moment and if we can match you again like we did at Headingley then I will be sure that we are moving in the right direction.
Let's hope for a close game and a good spectacle.

| Clearly Wire and Wigan are currently on a higher level than the Bulls but in these two games we were extremely generous to the opposition - with early turnovers and Sammut's restarting against Wigan. To have a chance against the Rhino's I am sure FC will be stressing tightening up our game. A win on Friday would be nice of course - but an exciting tight game comes a close second.

Big win away in the cup and losing at wire shouldn't make much difference....though yeah, I know you really mean the Wigan and Wire games not the cup.
To be honest more expensively assembled sides than ours have lost to those teams and the fact they weren't 'blow outs', against probably the best two teams in the competition, should put us in good heart.

If you think about it, it's a fantastic plaudit for Franny Cummins that having been fairly well beaten (though not by any means disgraced, and both games the score was not a fair reflection of the gap betwen the teams) in the last two "big games", many people are actually a bit deflated and disappointed. On the day OK signed up to svae the club, and hearing about our salary cap reduction, and given the disarray the whole thing put the club in, on that day we'd have all been expecting 60 point shallackings against these teams in a few months time. That we can at least give them a good hard game, and that we can see the effort the whole squad is putting in to those games, should really be enough, though i know we all want more
