Why is there any need for this?

I've always wondered.

It's so I can play Desert Island Discs with myself when they're reading the team sheets out and try and decide what I'd have if I could do any of run, catch or pass. Sometimes I have imaginary arguments with the person who'd ignore my choice and play Metallica instead on my behalf.
