Wanted to talk to you about the Bulls website and how embarrassing it is spelling mistakes all over, the shop, and the lack of content. Really hope they can sort it out

I quite like it.

They have tried. Sadly all the e-mail links do not work due to the spelling errors they contain.

I think it has the makings of a good site but has been put on-line before it is really ready. Unfortunately, there are issues both in content and coding.

The match day reports need a stronger editorial lead and proper proof reading whilst the history sections need more substance and a richer mix of media.

Some of the coding - particularly on the scrolling menus - falls apart and there is no point having a search facility that is inactive. It's also not particularly user friendly when viewed on a mobile device.

Given the importance of the site to the marketing of the club it is a tough call whether it should be up in its current state. It might have been better to go for a staged introduction over the course of a few months.

To me, better some website than no website. OK & Co. didn't exactly have the luxury of time. Tough call? You seriously saying that there's an argument no website at all would be better? I find that rather odd.

Think we are at cross purposes. A web presence is essential. My point was that the flaws undermine its credibility. Better to prioritise and get the essential things (match day info, ticket sales, shop etc.) right at the first attempt and then stage in the rest of the content once it is at the same standard.

Just having a casual glance at the Bulls site and I must admit that I'm struggling to find this myriad of errors that you're bemoaning in what I must consider a poor attempt at trolling.

Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us on where these mistakes are?

Certainly not trolling myself. Can't speak for the original poster. Have a look at the full match report for the Hull match as an example and at the way in which the navigation on the history pages responds when you scroll.

Much of the site is pretty good but it is inconsistent.

I'm merely just stating observations which I think could be improved. I was not trolling far from it actually I just feel we could have a better website compared with the high standard of the other teams in the competition

Last time I looked, none of the other teams in the competition were bought out of administration a mere few months ago, having been within hours of oblivion.

Last time I looked, none of the other teams in the competition had had a large proportion of their Sky money confiscated.

The new owners anyway had a job on their hands to even launch a website, for a variety of reasons.

Maybe you are about to volunteer either your services to help them accelerate the new site deveopment and the creation of content, or provide some additional funds so they can pay others who CAN?

It's an observation, no need to get on the attack. We all know we have had our differences Adey but you always keep a cool head in any "scraps" with me. You seem to be taking this a bit personal IMO.

I agree,on reading the original post, Adey I think you bit his head off straight away.

I thought it was a tad on the harsh side to be honest.

Who was it who attacked the Bulls store so vehemently?

If they want a Bulls/Northern history section for the site developing I will happily (and proudly) do it.
