| Nothing major announced.
Still searching for a prop. Spoken to a number of different people, needs to be the right deal for the club and the player.
No under 19's coach appointed yet. Cummins was close to getting his man but things didn't end up going the way he wanted. Looking over other applicants (closing date for applicants was last week). He would like to name somebody within the next 2 weeks.
Concerts at Odsal are confirmed. 3 dates: May bank holiday, June/July and late August.
Akbars still commited to providing some financial support. Deal will completed in the near future.
Sky money has already been distributed. No appeal.
There will be a testimonial dinner with the squad from the all conquering 2003 season sometime next year.
Home shirts on sale 21/12/12. Away shirt launch 26/01/13 at Odsal. Charity fundraiser that day as well.
New scoreboard confirmed.
Probably a few more things I've missed off. Not many people tuned up for it to be honest.

Given that the funds have been split between the other 13 clubs I feel that any Bulls fans travelling to an away game should consider not spending money other for the match ticket and their travel to the game. Yes some clubs were good to help us out in the downturn but the newco are now being punished rather than supported. The money that you may spend at an away game could potentially be given back to the Bulls in alternative way.

And buy your ticket from the Bulls ticket office before the game rather than pay on the gate at the away ground.

| I think we need to be careful here. We need to be careful not punish the likes of Widnes and others who were magnificent when we most needed help and kept us afloat when we were trying to raise the half million.

| I would have thought the RFL could have found a better use for the leftover money rather than simply distributing it amongst the other SL clubs.

Who's punishing them?
They've already gotten a bigger cut from the Sky money this year because of our situation.

| I know money is tight but it would have been a tremendous opportunity for the 13 clubs to show the RL community that they were concerned about the game rather than self interest. I would like to know whether this was a unanimous decision before contemplating any "boycott". Did anyone suggest using the money for youth development, community development or even a donation to the ex players Benevolent fund? There are innumerable worthy projects this money could have assisted-- instead it seems as if it will be used to, for example, allow some clubs to pay an additional contract and thus increase the gap between the Bulls and the rest.
Personally I could see the logic in putting us on probation and withholding funds -- but I am very disappointed at what I consider a misuse of the funds.

| The RFL have got themselves into an almighty mess and are pretty much having to go along with what some of the more vociferous clubs demand. The secret decision to lend the Bulls 700k and then buy the lease to the ground, having not received a single repayment, all happening at the roughly the same time as the Bulls were being given a Grade B license has caused an almighty stink within the game, and rightly so.
A more cynical man than myself may conclude those voices have been bought off from drawing further attention to the RFL's role in an inexplicable sequence of events which subsequently contributed to the crisis being deeper, being discovered later and being vastly more expensive and difficult to resolve than it otherwise need have been.

| Seeing as I view this as the price we paid for the other clubs to vote to keep us in Superleague, I can't see why anyone is surprised its been split out between the SL clubs. It smacked from the start of effectively being a bribe.

Sums up my view pretty succinctly.
I can understand the the RFL's position, even though its action does nothing to support a new company, but giving the other clubs the profit from the 'fine' is just crass and gives an impression of some quid pro quo going on. Surely they could have found a more worthy, and less contentious, use for the cash. Stinks of greasy palms for mine.

| Would someone be able to help me out here. I thought that we weren't getting our SKY money that was advanced last season?

I don't have access to the figures involved, but most of what we were given re the sky monies was ours to take anyway. All we were doing was taking our share slightly earlier due to our cashflow demands.
If the RFL did end up paying some of our wages etc., I seriously doubt the final tally was equal to HALF of our annual allowance for the next TWO YEARS.
We bought our licence, plain and simple. Exactly as I said at the time.
