| Has anyone heard anything regarding whether he's been retained or not? Ooc but haven't seen anything mentioned. Would have thought he'd be one were keen to retain given our prop shortage.

| Thought he was back training with the lads? I'm more concerned about Donaldson, feel he's being Treated unfairly, why not sign him now unless bulls don't
Want him? Why isn't he doing the testing or is he not in cummins plans?

| Thing with Donaldson is, with his injury record, he's a bit of a gamble in a position were not weak in. I'd like him to stay but imagine it will depend on filling the places were weak in first and if there's money left in budget after we've done that.

| He was mentioned in a TnA article a few weeks ago as in discussions, but nothing since. I guess his deal is behind the couple of seasoned SL props in the contracts queue.
Donaldson is an interesting one. Two cruciates. he came back from the first one, and was tackling as much as Langley at LF. But hes a bit short on Langleys physique, and is that a factor in the injuries? Would playing him as an offensive rather than defensive LF reduce his injury risk? And if Langley is going to play prop as suggested by numerous posters, who replaces him as our defensive LF as Addy is more offensive than defensive?

| Batemans best position is often said to be LF.

| Never been sure of Donaldson, he's never really looked up to it despite being labled as some kind of prodigy and likend to Farrell and Sculthorpe. Fair enough hes had two bad injuries, but the games that he has played he hasn't looked anything like the player he was described as when he arrived under a hail of Steve McNamara hype.

| Bateman at LF next year. Created a few tries there and scored a couple too. Donaldson should be moved to Second Row/Bench next season if we get him signed.

| IMO Donaldson the most talent gifted of all the young players
Confirmed recovery from injury may be a problem.

Agree strongly. Donno is one of (if not 'the') most naturally gifted players at the club, but his injuries have been horrendous. The lad's certainly due for some good luck.

Was rumoured a while ago but seems to have gone quiet. Probably wont hear one way or the other until Salford sort their finances out.

It's no wonder so many people block you when you come out with rubbish like that.
The fact that the Bulls didn't come out of administration until the season was virtually over has put a HUGE dent in the club's recruitment for 2013.
Most teams will have sorted out who's coming, who's going and who's staying by August. But Bradford couldn't do that because of the situation they found themselves in. So, by the time the club has crawled out of the money pit there's no one left of note available to sign. We're pretty much in the situation a newly promoted club would find itself in ie don't know if the club will be in SL next year so can't sign anyone until that is sorted out by which time the clubs who DO know which league they'll be playing in have swooped in for the best players leaving only those who are fringe/not up to SL quality.
FC and the club should be congratulated for getting ANY players to join at this stage. I believe the phrase is beggers can't be choosers.
