Which brings me to this matchday thread. One of my early rugby league memories is my dad dragging me to watch a game against Bradford Northern and taking for granted we would win. I can't even remember whether we did but I certainly miss the days when widnes could take for granted beating anybody. It will certainly be an interesting match now! There's a feelgood factor around at Widnes, we're finally playing with a bit of confidence and as for you, got to be some mixed feelings but determination from the players and a bit of relief that they will definitely be paid for the rest of the year!

Its just that we've had a week. With the unity and spirit amongst the players and fans of this proud club expect a paggering!

Beating Widnes home and away in 91-92 when they were no mean team and came second was the only thing that saved us from relegation and potential oblivion twenty years ago. Funny we should be meeting again in these circumstances.

I'm sure the money troubles will be the last thing on your mind when it kicks off on Sunday.

When things get heated we tend to forget about what we're all here for.

I guess the only hope for survival now is to kick on, make the eight and win the Grand Final. They could not kick out the champions could they...

Should be a good game, and i hope your money troubles get sorted and all the best for the year except for Sunday. You have a decent fan base, and i hope in 2013 bring a few to the Stobarts ,and we are a playoff team like Bradford.
