| Where are the reports that say the Potential Investors want to keep our young players, I thought I read it, now cant seem to find it.
Or did I imagined it?
Does anybody know which reports they are?

| If you listen to that interview carefully he says (without actually naming names) that Bateman and Whitehead are the specific players that the consortium want to keep
And Guilfoyle says clearly that he's not making any moves to sell them, despite receiving offers for them.

| I would guess that coupled with the property issues what these guys hope to be buying is the team that has been doing the business for us this season, a competitive unit in the SL. So it is not difficult to see that they have been looking for assurances on our SL status and composition of the team. But with so many of the current squad ooc even if they can persuade BG not to sell anyone they are going to have to move quickly to secure the players for next year.

| I think its funny when people make their own minds up whos being sold etc, maybe the players dont want to be sold, maybe wire made the player an offer that they thought he couldnt refuse and smashes his current wage but he still said no for the love of the club.

| Who is to say the young or any talented players will even sign new contracts with these new owners. A new owner/ board mean all current contracts are VOID
So let's actually see which ones jump ship!

no it doesnt. Contracts are only void if we go through liquidation process. If new owners buy the club the contracts are tupe'd across to the new company. Wish you'd get your facts correct before spouting.

| If a consortium buy the business before it is liquidated, contracts wil all parties are still effective. If the company folds (goes into liquidation) all contract are null and void. Players will therefore still be employed by Bradford BUlls Holdings LTD, its just that that company will have new owners. They will be under the same terms and conditions as when they signed. Dont even think there needs to be a TUPE process, unless the new owners want to change the terms of contracts!
Next, You will be suggesting that every time a person buys or sells shares in a company, new contracts are drawn!!!!!

Thing is that, without all the problems, some players would have been leaving and new ones arriving. I certainly can't remember the last time there were no ins or outs at the end of the season.
The biggest problem is that the decisions are usually made by the head coach - who is currently redundant, and to be honest, I'd guess most of the ooc players will have been/are being sorted out with deals elsewhere by their agents, mortgages to pay, mouths to feed, etc etc. Assuming things turn out ok, it's pretty important that the coaching positions are sorted asap and next season's playing roster is prioritised.
