In this case, a 404 usually means that a file (in this case the index page) or directory on the server has gone. I'd say it's probably a safe bet to say it's been deleted.

I've skimmed a few of the urls that I was able to find from google and they're all dead. That along with the fact you're getting a server 404 rather than a custom error page from the CMS makes me think that either the directory has been deleted or someone's removed the host header, neither of which you can really do by accident.
Not that it was really in doubt but I think it's safe to say that the site's been pulled rather than it being an accidental outage |

If you go to his crappy website company's website and look in their portfolio the Bulls site was the only entry. |

Could be that if the club pay monthly for the hosting that July's payment wasn't made so the hosting company have suspended or deleted the site.
I suppose if most of the admin staff have gone then the the person who looked after the site for the club has also sadly been given the boot so rather than have a site that had no-one to update it, it would be better to simply take it out of use. If so, it's probably a bad move as it leads to speculation and conspiracy theories.
Still.. whatever the reason, it's not a good sign.
