Title says it all. Was very disappointed to see him as our sub "hooker" over O'brien. I feel Addy has player pretty well this year, but he is not a hooker. He proved that last year (Although injury dictated that we maybe had to play him out of position)

His distribution from dummy half was awful, it was slow and he couldn't pass backward, there were at least 2 forward passes from him in the build up to Kearneys second.

This is not a pop at the lad, he has played well this year for us, but it's clear for all to see he's not a hooker. Don't understand why we're playing Addy (Who's not an experienced player) out of position in , when we have one of the most highly rated young hookers in the game.

Need Addy in for Sibbit and O'Brien at hooker.

Addy should be at 13 and O'Brien as the second hooker.

Some of our best rugby this season was the 2nd half against HKR (away). Addy at 13, Whitehead rt side, Bateman Lt side.

I would like to see Addy get a few games at 13 if possible this season

Of all the other (possible) 2nd row options for that game -

Langers started but was injured 1st half
Chev was at centre
Sibbit was injured
Elima was injured
Donno was injured
Olbison was injured

Elima is fit at the moment - but he can (and did yesterday ) cover prop, as can Langers

I didn't really understand why Addy was picked as interchange hooker then only used for about 10 minutes. It was well into the 2nd half before he got on - and as soon as Cas came close to us L'Estrange was brought back on to steady the ship

If Potter doesn't really rate Addy as interchange hooker, then why not just pick O'Brien? At least he is a specialist hooker.

How much game time has O'Brien had since coming back from injury? I agree that Addy's not really suited to dummy half but he's more up to SL speed at the moment.

BTW I thought Addy had too little game time to make an impact, what he did do was alright and the 40-20 attempt was inches close to coming off.

Yeah he's not a hooker, but he does an OK job.

Was impressed with Olbison, would start him against Saints. Whitehead looks out of form and it's about time he started cutting the rookie errors from his game.

He's played at least a couple of U20s games - which is a heck of a lot more than Sibbit, who was brought straight back onto the bench yesterday...

Best back row option by far irrespective of Elima and Langleys fitness levels (which are diminishing more by the season)

Bateman linked up brilliantly with Lulia in that game, need more of the same

May be young but Olbison has been looking strong, we know what John is capable of and Addy offers something that none of our other options do.

As B4C says, Whitehead hasn't been at his best lately so bench along with elima for prop would suit me as long as Langers isn't fit.
