What is the exact problem concerning Brett Kearney ??

We were told weeks and weeks ago that he had suffered a reaction to his ankle - since then nothing.

Is this a major problem that the Bulls are keeping from us and why are being kept in the dark so much ??

We dont know how long he is out, the same goes for Purtell ???!!

They're taking a bit longer than forecast to get over their injuries but, just now, we're not desperate enough to ask them to play anyway?? Funnily enough, when I looked at the squad for the Salford (same as for London, btw) my first thought, without even thinking of the ones not considered, was, "That's great news". Not that I wouldn't want both Kearney and Purts in he squad, if fit, but I'm happy with what we have in the team.

Probably refusing to play after not been paid!!!

Don't think Purtell is that bad - just not quite ready. Potter has a habit of making players wait an extra week once they come back from injury before putting them back in the side.

As for Kearney, I wonder if it's one of those injuries that won't clear up properly. Doesn't need an operation, but is a significant enough niggle that it won't clear when expected.

If he was fit I'm sure he'd play, and if he needed an op, I'm sure that we'd have had him under the knife as we seem keen to cut people (Scruton, Sibbit, etc)

The annoying fact is that in the NRL all Teams Squad injuries are highlighted with expected time out or date of return. SL have always had this parochial hangover from previous times when the then Club Chairmens paranoia was such, their Coachs and Players were forbidden from giving out details.

Mystic Eddie was right. Some folk need to learn to relax a little (just like Kearney is whilst refusing to play due to not been paid)
